Hurricane Michael- Panama City, FL

Donation protected
The small town of Panama City and surrounding areas were obliterated on October 10, 2018 by Hurricane Michael leaving almost no tree uprooted and every power line snapped, every roof damaged. As I cautiously drove through the once familiar streets of my childhood,  it became evident that every single building was damaged: homes collapsed, schools missing rooves exposing the entire gym, businesses crushed. Even the Air Force base was not omitted.

We now understand the tragedy that survivors of Hurricanes Katrina in New Orleans and Maria in Puerto Rico had to endure. However, we know that Jesus is still in control, and he holds up to each and every one of his promises.

On behalf of St. Luke Missionary Baptist church of Panama City, FL we are asking for any contribution to help the families that are in need the most in neighborhoods that may not receive as much attention. Although this is not our final destination home, we must do our best to continue with God's mission for us.

"I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten-- the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm -- my great army that I sent among you.

-Joel 2:25

"The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
