Hurricane Harvey Relief

Hello Community!

Recently my hometown of Texas and extended family members endured the destructive hurricane Harvey that has devasted many areas in the gulf.  Even though many people and organizations are doing all they can to help, I still see the daily battle my family is facing to just get by.  Many families such as mine are working daily to rebuild their homes and their lives from the ground up.  



When asked by friends and co-workers how they can help my family members, it is a difficult question to answer.  Yes they have water, yes they have food, but even their food they cannot keep cold and fresh because they do not have a refrigerator.  The necessities needed to put their life back together have to come one day at a time and some may not come at all without the help of their family, friends, and community.

That's where you come in!  Recognizing that many homes and lives have been devasted I feel I need to do my part in suppporting and trying to help my family first.  Of course that is just the start of a bigger mission that all of us are part of.


My hope is to raise enough money to help several families purchase some of those necessary items that are needed on a daily basis, such as; a refrigerator, a toaster oven , a portable stove top, or even help provide them transportation to and from work, as many have lost their vehicles as well.

Any amount is appreciated and will not go to waste.
