HurricaneHarvey AWS Employee Relief

This campaign is to assist AWS co-workers whose homes were flooded by the devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey. We hope to aid in near term needs and assistance as they seek to rebuild and restore their homes. All net proceeds that come from this campaign will go directly to these families to assist with replacing essential items that will aid them as they await any insurance claims (where they exists) or any government aid. This is NOT officially affiliated with Amazon, nor is it meant to be a replacement to its officially coordinated Red Cross campaign. This an effort by those of us in the AWS US-Central Area to assist those co-workers that are part of our professional family and aid them as they recover.

The funds for this campaign will be divided evenly among the following four impacted co-workers:  Barry Robinson, Hung Nguyen, Bob Hardin and Peter Ferri.  The disbursement process will be done via Scott Bends, who is serving in the capacity as the campaign treasurer. Scott will withdraw the proceeds and into his account and disburse the contributions evenly to the above recipients.
