On Friday, August 25, 2017, Hurricane Harvey tore through our hometown of Rockport, Texas.

If pictures paint 1,000 words then only one word comes to mind "WOW" because that is "MOM" upside down and that's exactly what happened.... my Mom's world has been turned upside down, as her house was severely damaged by the violent storms.

My wife, three boys, and myself also live in Rockport, approximately one mile from my parents' house. We are very fortunate that our house was not damaged and that everyone is safe. On Thursday, August 24th, we boarded up our houses, packed up as many belongings as we could, drove three hours West; and we did it all TOGETHER.

For us, FAMILY always comes first and we will continue to hold that as our biggest value and blessing as we work to recover on the long road ahead.

The biggest cost for us at the moment is food and fuel. We are currently running off of generators until the power is back up in Rockport, which may take up to six weeks.

Absolutely ANY donation helps to support our family to buy food, fuel, necessities, and to eventually rebuild my Mom's house. We truly appreciate everyone who has reached out during this difficult time and we THANK YOU all so much for sending us amazing prayers!
