Funds for Red Coconut RV Park team

The friendly staff at family-owned and operated Red Coconut RV Park hosted the Caudill family over the summer.

It was devastating hearing and seeing the news that Hurricane Ian destroyed the entire park. This unique and beautiful beachfront RV park has been reduced to rubble.

Worse, the storm's impact reached much further. Nine of the 17 Red Coconut RV Park employees lived on the island. They have been displaced by Hurricane Ian and lost their homes, vehicles, and personal possessions. Those who do not live on the island lost access to critical resources and are now facing financial hardship in the weeks to come.

Here's what they had to say:

"To our Red Coconut Family,
As you know, this has been a horrific event, but we are tough and resilient. Everyone is safe and we are currently waiting to get back onto the island. Property is replaceable but lives are not, so we are extremely grateful that we are all okay.
We will do our best to keep everyone updated once water and power are restored. Right now, send your prayers to Fort Myers Beach and all surrounding areas as our community begins the rebuilding process.
We sincerely appreciate the outreach and concern expressed by our beloved customers.
Red Coconut Management"

Please join us in helping the staff at Red Coconut RV Park to aid those who have lost everything and clean up this beautiful park. An estimated 20,000 guests visited the park in the summertime. In the winter, Red Coconut generally hosts as many as 60,000 guests. Your donation and kind words are vital and greatly appreciated!

All donations will go to the employees of the Red Coconut RV Park.
