Hurricane Relief for Tim & Katya

This fund is for those who want to help Katya and Tim during the difficult months to come following hurricane Maria.  We fortunately were able to speak to them briefly over the last two days, so we know they and the kids are ok.  They had a lot of damage to and around their home, their fence and shed were destroyed, and at one point their garage door was hanging from a tree along with someone else's weed whacker!  Their large water tank was contaminated during the storm, so they are having to buy more supplies than they expected, and right now all purchases are cash only.  They also hope to find a generator to buy to help them through the several months they expect to be without power.  Fortunately, thanks to the hurricane two weeks ago, they have a life time supply of avocados!

At the time, we joked that they were supplies for the next storm.

We we have all the info we need to put contributions directly into their account, so we figured this is better than trying to send things in the mail, where we don't know when they will be able to get them.
