We are changing directions because the world has changed. Neil has dedicated himself to the rebuild of the Keys, but with the horrific state of things happening in Puerto Rico, he's heading there to continue with the work that has to be done.
We need your help to further this cause! Please share, and help out with this cause. It's an amazing way for Neil to recover by helping others. The goal has been raised to 10K, and will be going towards supplies and a down payment on a boat. Thank you for those that have donated. Please share, please help.
Hurricane season this year has been devastating for so many. And absolutly disastrous for our dear friend, Neil Curran. Leaving Minnesota behind, a good paying job, friends & family… he moved to the Keys, bought a boat and began his lifelong dream. After paying off his boat/home just a few weeks ago, Irma took it away.
With his home and all his belongings gone, he also lost his way of life. He lives on the Calypso Poet, but also lives for her. Folks have been reaching out to Neil with warm regards, hopes and asking how they can help. On behalf of his big brother, Sean Curran, we have started this fund to provide some relief. His only belongings are what he carried in his backpack when he had to evacuate.
Neil went back to the Keys the moment the roads opened to search for his home, but he also went back so he could start helping with the rebuild of his community. He’s been helping out businesses and families get back in the only way Neil can, as positive as possible.
Anything you can donate would be amazing! Neil is high spirited and willing to help others, and we hope we can now help him in his hour of need. Please dig deep.
