Hurricane Michael Immediate Relief

Donation protected

My name is Clif Parker and I'm the CEO of Reach3D. I lived in Panama City, FL. for over 40 years. My family and most of my friends are still there. It's been heartbreaking to hear some of the horrific stories of survival coming out of this community over the last few days. In the wake of Hurricane Michael, Mexico Beach, Panama City, Lynn Haven, Port St. Joe, and other communities are on the verge of being uninhabitable. There is NO running water, electricity, sewage, internet, and no prospects of it improving over the next weeks. We are worried about these people. They are just trying to survive day to day, with enough water and food to provide for themselves and their families. Not only is there a daily struggle to survive, most of the population is most likely unemployed, given that there are no businesses to return to, which equates to no pay checks and no way to get money out of their banks and bank accounts.

A disaster such as this will take months to rebuild even a semblance of the vibrant and loving community that they had. In Lynn Haven, the mayor is recommending that the people leave town for 2 months until they can get some of their facilities back on line. Mexico Beach, is completely wiped off the map. Other outlying cities, as well as Downtown Panama City, appear to be an absolute war zone. 90% of the trees are not there anymore or are snapped in half like twigs. It’s a completely changed landscape, and will remain that way for some time.

Furthermore, the people there are in DESPERATE need of immediate help and attention. They need food, water, porta-potties and CASH. They need the ability to sustain life. Our concerns are that (1) some people don't have the ability to leave, with their cars and homes totaled, and with nowhere else to go and (2) with limited phone service and no internet, they are having a difficult time finding the locations of any organized relief or calling out for help!

We need to do some immediate stop-gap measures. I am looking for anyone to help!  If you can send WATER, FOOD, or ANY resources, it would be such a blessing. If you have business friends that could donate water bottles, cash, porta potties, we have men with trailers driving as often as they get filled, down to the Panama City area. 100% of all money donated will go towards bringing in these necessary items to this area immediately. If you cannot donate items, but wish to donate money instead, we will use those funds to buy the necessary items this community needs. We are buying non perishable food, batteries, wipes, generators, ice chests, gas and gas cans for those who have requested help in New Hope, Lynn Haven and Panama City area. We will be delivering the items directly to those who have requested help on my Facebook page, people we have spoken with directly and others who have requested help through friends on Facebook. We will also be dropping off donations to NorthStar Church and Destiny Worship Center for final distribution.
