Hurricane Maria Relief Assistance

On September 19, 2017, the Island of Dominica was forever changed. Those who recount the disastrous effects of hurricane Maria speak of a fear never before experienced. 48 people have been confirmed dead, and those who survived are struggling to come to terms with their new reality. All grocery stores are bare, there is little water and many are without a place to call home.
I grew up on the island of Dominica, and many of my family still live there. My childhood home has been destroyed, and my village is no longer recognizable. The same is true of the entire country. This is a disaster of catastrophic proportions that will require more than well wishes to overcome.

This is a plea for your support. On behalf of the people of the country of my birth, Dominica, and the village of my upbringing, Castle Bruce, I am petitioning for your support. My family and I are currently undertaking the task of preparing as many barrels as possible to be shipped to Dominica. We have identified several families in dire need and will be shipping the supplies directly to them. We hope to support as many families as possible with your help. The next shipment will depart on 10/7/17.

Thank you!
