Hurricane MARIA Quinonez Family

Imagine having no clean water to drink , bathe or clean.  No electricity to keep the lights on, a fan or AC in 90 degree weather? No fridge to keep food cold or your insulin medication at its ideal temperature.

IMAGINE losing all your furniture, your beds all muddy destroyed.
As you know the aftermath of what Hurricane Maria has done to the island in Puerto Rico has been just horrific. It is a nightmare. My family from barrio Espinal de Aguada has been left in such devastation. 

 I need your help! To get their basic necessities, a couple of generators, and help the ones that are ill to leave the island for now.

My aunt, uncle and cousin are struggling with serious medical issues including diabetes, and cancer.  It has been difficult getting food, water, medical care as well they have lost everything.  But they have faith and love for each other.

At this time there are 22 family members staying in the same 3 bedroom home because 3 houses of my family are completely gone.

They have children unable to go to school and who are frightened. Federal assistance has been delayed and getting to them with simple 2 bottles of water and pringles being offered.  This picture is right outside of my families home in Aguada, Puerto Rico 3 of my family members home was completely destroyed.
 
One of my uncle is living in a shelter at this time and he’s lost most of the dogs he rescued.

My goal is to raise money to assist them help bring them to Boston & florida where we can help. They have no running, water, electricity and there home is not adequate. Again, they don't even have beds to sleep in.

As a social worker, I have always been passionate in helping  and donating to causes and with those in need. This cause is directly affecting me and those that I love very much, my family.

I pray I am able to touch your heart to please help my family get the much needed help they need. God bless you and pray for Puerto Rico.
