Hurricane Ida Relief Cecil Lapeyrouse Grocery

Help save a Louisiana landmark. Cecil Lapeyrouse Grocery has operated in the same building serving the Cocodrie Louisiana community for over 107 Years. Hurricane Ida left 2.5 feet of water in the store and the winds destroyed portions of the building and gas pumps. Cecil and Etta Lapeyrouse are third generation owners, and if you've every fished Cocodrie, You have probably stopped in at their store. The entire community has been devastated. No power or water for weeks. We appreciate any help you can give
