Hurricane Ida - Help Kirk Rebuild His Livelihood

Hi, My name is Kirk Fisher. I am from Lafitte, Louisiana, a small town south of New Orleans that was devastated with winds and flooding from Hurricane Ida that destroyed our area on 8/29/2021.

During Ida, not only was my home damaged, but my commercial shrimping boat, my livelihood, my entire means of making a living, broke loose from the dock and we are unable to locate it. As of today, 3 weeks after this hurricane, my commercial fishing vessel is still missing. We aren't sure if it sunk or floated away to some unknown location. This boat was built by me with my bare hands from start to finish. The situation that I am in is devastating.

Currently I have no means of earning a living. I am asking for donations to help with rebuilding my commercial fishing vessel. Every little bit helps and I appreciate each and every one of you taking your time to read my story and possibly help me get out of this life-altering situation that I find myself in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida.
