Hurricane Ian-Food Truck turned Mobile Laundromat

Donation protected
Hi I'm Rob and just after Hurricane Ian devastated our community, I was watching the local news and the last thing a woman said after talking about losing everything was that she couldn't even wash the little clothes she had left because she had no way to do laundry. I was emotional, this woman reminded me of my late mom.

I turned my emotion into action. My business, Fort Myers Brewing, had a food truck that we recently gutted and I got to thinking that I could turn this truck into a mobile laundromat. And 3 days after this was just an idea - with the help of other local businesses and some kind individuals - I had this mobile laundromat on the road.

My first stops were in Island Park - where the original news story that inspired me was filmed. The past few days, I've been stationed on one of the hardest hit areas, Pine Island.

I’ve been hesitant to take any monetary donations because all we needed were supplies and labor at first, but I now find myself with some equipment failures and wanting to add one more dryer and maybe another washer.

If you’re able and want to contribute note that all money donated will go 100% to this endeavor.
