The beach community, where our family lives, has been devastated by Hurricane Ian. Our home address (when not in our van) is Fort Myers Beach, where the storm hit with record-breaking force and a storm surge of 12-14 feet. The area has been hit so hard that it is nearly unrecognizable.

We are so grateful to be able to say that our family and friends evacuated before the storm and are safe... but numerous homes have been swept away off their foundations, along with a rising death toll.

We are planning to drive our van all the way back to Florida (currently in Utah) to help with disaster relief efforts in whatever way we can.

Our goal is to use every bit of money raised through this gofundme, and our YouTube video, to provide supplies to those in need within the Fort Myers Beach community.

We have been told that there may not be electricity to the island for the next 2+ months, meaning that there will be no running or safe drinking water, and stores cannot restock supplies that hundreds, if not thousands, in the community all need the same of (including food). On top of this, there is currently only 1 open road to the island and the logistics of getting supplies in, and rubbish out, will be a remarkable feat of its own.

The community of Fort Myers Beach greatly needs your support, and through us, and this gofundme, you can help provide critical supplies (i.e. saws, generators, extension cords, water, cleaning supplies, wheel barrels, etc.) for the 1,000's of Floridians left without homes and power.

We will be the ones to deliver these items personally, and will document the story of relief and recovery efforts over the coming months on YouTube.
