Hurricane Harvey Recovery for Eme

Dear friends, 

My name is Mabel Kelly and I live in the Houston area. Eme Kokoma is my friend and running partner, and I’ve known her for over 5 years.

As you all know, Texas was hit by Hurricane Harvey and many of us were affected. Unfortunately, some were more affected than others. My friend, Eme, and her son were severely impacted by the storm, and have lost everything. She recently lost her mother, and was out of town for her funeral service when Hurricane Harvey hit and flooded her one-story home. She was unable to salvage anything. Everything is needed and insurance will not cover losses caused by flood.

If you have ever lost a parent, you already know the pain Eme is going through.  The additional loss caused by Hurricane Harvey is very overwhelming. Eme is a good person and is a single mother. She is always there for others. Please help me be there for her now.

I am setting up this page to help Eme recover from this great loss. Every donation is greatly appreciated and no amount is too small. One hundred percent of the funds generated by this campaign will go directly to Eme and her son.
