Hurricane Harvey - Lost Posessions

Hello,
My name is Justin Vasquez, my family has been one of millions that has been displaced due to the recent tragedy of Hurricane Harvey. We live in the Galveston area and while we were lucky because our family is alive and well, all our worldly possessions minus clothes has been destroyed minus a few electronics we had on hand.
Unfortunately, we tried to file a claim with our insurance company, and because we are renters - not homeowners - we do not have adequate coverage to collect any type of incurance reimbursement or claim.
I've also had 3 surgeries since January having to correct an infection inside of an abscess which was caused by my 25+ years of living with Crohn's Disease. I have another surgery on September 19th scheduled, but I cannot go to work or even find a job now because I will be recovering from another surgery for at least a month.
We are are currently staying with my wife's cousin's family and are safe. We have food, water and electricity.
If you can help spread the word and help in any way you can, our family will be forever grateful. Any funds raised would be to help with bills, medical necessities and maybe replace some of the items we have lost after 35+ years of collecting.
