Hurricane Harvey CF Gym Rebuild
Hundreds of CrossFit gyms that serve the Houston and Texas Coastal communities have been destroyed by Hurricane Harvey. Some are currectly under 6 feet of water, others are wading in knee deep water trying to recover what they can. A group of CrossFitters are getting together to raise funds to help these gyms rebuild and start serving their communities again. We have set up a google doc so that all of the affected gyms that need help in these areas can request funds. Our goal is to raise a set amount and evenly distribute it amungst the gyms in need. Every dollar raised will go directly to the gyms in need.

About this Campaign:
CrossFit Central, in Austin, Texas, is founded and operated by Jeremy Thiel. After seeing the devestating effect of Hurricane Harvey Jeremy knew he had to find a way to help. He reached out to the Houston affiliates and they decided to put together this fundraiser. The funds raised in this campaign will be distributed to the gyms in need. The money raised will be given to Angel Gonzalez, owner of a non-profit iorganization n Houston called Wheelin Outdoors. Through this non-profit Angel and his team will send checks to the Houston gyms that have requested help.
