Our country Honduras is going through a turbulent situation due to the Hurricane Eta that furiously hit several departments of the country.
My Mom Norma Duarte (we call her Normita), who resides in San Pedro Sula, Cortés, is a senior citizen who lost all her belongings and was left with nothing to shelter herself.

It was 5 am when Normita woke up and realized her home was flooding and needed to evacuate, but it wasn’t until 10 am that she was rescued. She couldn’t get into the rescue boat so she had to hang on to it for about an hour until she was taken to dry ground. She left behind her home, and everything in it.

I am requesting help for Normita. She needs to buy the basics to get through these difficult times. With your donation she will be able to buy a bed, clothing, sheets, cleaning products, medicines, food, water, and the essentials in this time of need.

Right now Normita is living in a temporary home, she is looking for a place to move in. Your donation will greatly help her.

Nuestro país Honduras está atravesando por una situación de calamidad por el Huracán Eta que azotó con furor varios departamentos del país. Mi mamá Norma Duarte(La llamamos Normita), quien reside en San Pedro Sula, Cortés, es una persona de la tercer edad que perdió todas sus pertenencias quedando totalmente sin nada para poder albergarse.

Eran las 5 de la mañana cuando Normita se despertó y se dio cuenta de que su casa estaba inundada y necesitaba evacuar, pero no fue hasta las 10 de la mañana que fue rescatada. No pudo subirse al bote de rescate, por lo que tuvo que agarrarse fuerte durante aproximadamente una hora hasta que la llevaron a tierra seca. Dejó atrás su casa y todo lo que había en ella.

Estoy solicitando ayuda para Normita. Ella necesita comprar lo básico para sobrevivir estos momentos tan difíciles que atraviesa. Con su donación ella podrá comprar una cama, ropa de vestir, sabanas, productos de limpieza, medicamentos, agua, lo esencial en este momento de necesidad.

Ahora mismo, Normita vive en una casa temporal, está buscando un lugar para mudarse. Tu donación la ayudará mucho.
