Hurricane Dorian Relief for Dialo’s Family
Donation protected
Hurricane Dorian made landfall in the Bahamas on September 1st, 2019. After making landfall, she stayed there for two days, causing the most devastating and tragic event in the country’s history. My friend and co-worker, Dialo Cartwright, was raised there (Grand Bahama Island). He has lived in the United States for many years now, but the Bahamas is still a place that he calls home. Most of his family and friends still reside there and have been greatly affected by this life-changing disaster. When we heard the story of his family standing on the kitchen countertop to hold their heads above water for two days and praying for life in attics, we knew we had to help! This is an overwhelming catastrophe that we can only imagine, let alone endure. Dialo plans to make a trip back to the Bahamas and would greatly appreciate any and all support you can provide for his family. It is the simple things that they are in dire need of (food, water, clothes, etc.)--everyday things that we all take for granted. Thank you so much for your donations, your thoughts, and your prayers. God bless!
