Air Force Family Loses All in Storm

Help this family of six rebuild their lives following the devastation of Hurricane Michael. Zach and Ashley, a young couple from Colorado, have lived in various parts of the globe in service of our country. However, Hurricane Michael has succeeded in wiping out almost all of their personal possessions. Thankfully, they were able to safely evacuate from Panama City with their four children, but their home and property were completely destroyed. They are grateful to have one car and a three day supply of clothing. Treasured possessions, including toys, photos, memorabilia, laptops, furniture, etc. are all gone.  Imagine being hundreds of miles away from family in the midst of all this loss. Their children, Jaidyn, Ryker, Matteo, and Skylar, are all between the ages of eleven and five. Ashley reached out today to say, “No one knows if we can even go back to salvage anything that survived and by the time they let us, it’ll all be even worse anyway . . .  From other pictures, houses are looking so much worse from the ground. Windows blown and whole sides of housing destroyed. It’s not looking good and we’re all devastated. They told us to grab a few days worth of stuff, but almost everything was left behind. I know I’m not the only one to go through this and my heart is breaking for everyone involved.” She also went on to say that the children don’t quite understand what all has been lost or what they are facing. This young mother knows that she is blessed to have her children and her husband safe, but she also knows that they are facing a long and difficult path. Please give what you can to help this family to rebuild and once again provide their children with the security and comfort of home.

I, Drew, am Zach's cousin from Kershaw, SC and I have set up this fundraiser on his behalf. He will be the sole recipient of all of these funds and will be able to access them directly into his bank account. The money will be used to replace their possessions lost in the storm (i.e. clothes, electronics, toys for their children, furniture, etc.).
