Huntley's Eye Surgery

Dear Friends and Family,I turn to you desperate for help! My moms puppy, Huntley, needs eye surgery very soon. The last few months Huntley has been dealing with a prolapsed gland of the nictitans otherwise known as Cherry eye. We have been going to a vet who has given us countless antibiotics to try, but to no avail. It has progressively gotten worse and the next step is surgery to completely remove it. We have been pushing it off for as long as possible since there is no way we can afford it at this moment in time. The surgery could cost upwards of a thousand dollars if not more. If left untreated any longer it could cause bigger problems in the eye including loss of vision. During the surgical procedure the vet will tuck the gland back into place and stitch it down. However, there is a chance that they may have to remove the gland entirely if they can not tuck it in place or if the gland re-prolapses after the first surgery, meaning a second surgery may be needed. Please if you can donate or share with others I would greatly appreciate it!!! We love Huntley to death and have tried everything else before reaching this bridge we now have to cross. She is the sweetest little girl who loves everyone and always has her tail wagging no matter what. She will run up to you and when you go down to pet her immediately assumes the position of belly rubs every time. So please, please, please help us help her feel better!!!!
