Hunters therapy dog

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page, I really like dogs and my parents would love to get me a therapy dog. Since they cost so much my parents need help and any donations will be helpful.

My name is Hunter and I am 3 years old. I have been diagnosed as a high functioning autistic. I am very nice and am a lot smarter than most people think. My problem is I haven't figured out how to communicate with words and this makes my life very difficult. I don't like being social and have extreme anxiety around groups of people. I also have a hard time transitioning and adjusting to changes. Sometimes I find it difficult just to walk inside a building I'm not familiar with. I dont respond to my name all of the time and normally avoid eye contact so my parents don't know if I am listening to what they are telling me. Sometimes I wander off or get so excited that I run around or away from my parents just because I like the way running feels. Sometimes I have bad days because I can't handle having emotions and not being able to communicate how I feel. My mom calls these meltdowns or aggresssive behavior but I am just really frustrated and can't tell anyone. Mommy knows that sometimes I need a quiet space with my earmuffs or hugs with lots of pressure to deal with all of my senses that seem to be overpowering me. My parents have done tons of research and have found out that therapy dogs really help kids with autism during their meltdowns and anxiety.  I believe getting this dog will be the best thing for me. Even if you can't help me a lot, any amount would be greatly appreciated.
