Cauda Equina Syndrome

Our friend Hunter woke up on Thanksgiving 2017 in his home in Costa Mesa, California with no feeling from the waist down. He was rushed into surgery after what he thought was going to be a short visit to the ER. He was diagnosed Cauda Equina syndrome as the main cause of his damaged spinal cord that left most of his waist down paralyzed. His surgery went as planned; it consisted of removing his herniated discs, fusing his vertebrae at degeneration points, and decompressing his impinged spinal cord. Unfortunately, it did not change the outcome of his inability to feel or move his legs. He will be later transferred from his current hospital to a rehabilitation center where he will have regular physical therapy in hopes to regain mobility and sensation and then later learn to walk again.

This obviously puts Hunter out of tattooing his clients. He is extremely sorry for any inconvenience and appreciates everyone’s patience through this process. There is a long road ahead and we all appreciate any kind of support through the build up of regular bills, medical and treatment costs. Life unfortunately does not go on hold when things like this happen and we want to help Hunter as much as we can.

We appreciate and love each and everyone of you guys who have been there to support him over the years! He is staying positive and looks forward to tattooing all of your great ideas when he gets out of here! Thank you for all your support.
