Hunters Creek Map and Trail Marker Remediation

WNYMBA is embarking on a special project to improve the kiosks, mapping, and trail markings at Sgt. Mark A. Rademacher Memorial/Hunters Creek Park located in South Wales NY. The planned improvements will include updated metal maps on the kiosks, new intersection markers, enhanced signage for exits at critical areas, and reflective markers for all designated trails. Trails at the park are maintained by volunteerism and donations. WNYMBA is pleased to be one of the volunteer groups associated with the park in partnership with Erie County Parks, Recreation, & Forestry. However, the pandemic has impacted our normal fundraising activities and the cost for this project beyond the means of our volunteer organization. Given that situation we’re asking the public and users of the park to help us fund these improvements on some of the nicest hiking trails in WNY. The project will be rolled out in 2 phases. Kiosks, enhanced signage, and intersections markers will be updated in 2nd quarter 2022. Reflective trail marking will be rolled out 3rd and 4th quarter of 2022
