Hunter Schubert Final Expenses

I am Matthew Schubert, Hunter Schubert's dad. On January 4, 2020, Hunter left this world after succumbing to depression. He was scheduled to come home to Arizona that day, and I had messaged him to let him know how much I was looking forward to his return. He never made it past the Fort Wayne Airport. Hunter was 16 years old and was an amazing young man who was loved by anyone who got to know him. He was always helping neighbors, friends and family whenever they needed anything. He was my only son, and like his dad, he always looked for the lighter side of life, but had a tough time dealing with socialization among peers. Hunter always fit in well with the adults, and was especially kind and loving toward the elderly. Hunter loved firetrucks, trains and military technology. He loved the Indianapolis Colts, Notre Dame Football and Indiana Pacers Basketball. If we were talking movies, then the top of the list was definitely Star Wars. Hunter was a great big brother and the beloved pesky little brother than loved his sisters more than anything. Hunter was a great kid who left us far too soon. We may never get the real answer until we are reunited with him in heaven, but we will carry all of the love and memories forward for the rest of our days. We are raising money to help cover final expenses and his memorial. These expenses include paying the funeral home for services related to his cremation, urn, shipping, transportation, death certificates, memorial service and wake. There was a GoFundMe created by his mother that raised funds for the Indiana service, which included expenses specific to that service, which was a larger service for those who knew him in Indiana. My wife and I would like to personally thank everyone for their thoughts/prayers, support, cooked meals, personal visits and donations. We are continuing to search for our new normal, but we have to endure each day with our faith and hope to guide us until then. God bless you all.
