Humanitarian Help For Ukrainian Family

Hi to all of our friends, as some of you may already be aware, Alyona’s family was forced to flee Ukraine in the middle of the night, only able to bring what they could pack into small travel size suitcases due to the horrible tragedy unfolding in Ukraine. They fled to Poland over a month ago, living in 4 different hotels while selflessly volunteering every day helping fellow Ukrainian refugees. But we are now so very happy to say that about a week ago we were able to fly them from Poland to Mexico and then with a little luck helped them cross the border into the US. Sadly, in having to flee Ukraine, they unfortunately had to leave all of their belongings behind and are now tasked with rebuilding their lives here in the Bay Area. We have been so very grateful to all of the beautiful caring people who have reached out to us and asked us how they could help Alyona’s family which is why we’ve created this GoFundMe. All of the funds raised will go directly to Alyona’s family by helping them secure a modest place to stay, basic furniture, purchase much needed clothing, and help with the cost of every day needs. Please know that your much needed donation no matter how small will go a very long way in helping them not only get back on their feet, but also help them live with a newfound sense of dignity.
