Humanitarian aid/Nutrition provision Colombia

Two weeks have passed since Colombia went into lock down, for many families this has been a devastating time affecting their economies and ability to purchase certain essentials. Almost 48% of the population are informal workers; meaning they are not registered employees and have no social security and simply live on a day to day basis.

I have witnessed face to face the need many families are going through by not being able to afford essentials and basic food for them and their loved ones. With this fundraising we aim to buy food packages which we can give to home affected by extreme poverty in Pereira, Colombia. These sort of projects can not be carried out by one person or one family and i wish for the outreach to be greater.

I have been sitting at home watching and hearing about people in need and today i woke up to know we must act and look for ways in which we can help. With your donation we will be able to supply food in vulnerable areas making a solid impact in people during this time.
