Our Pets Need Your Help

Humane Society of Pasco County is a volunteer based animal shelter that has been finding homes for animals in Pasco County since 1982.
Our shelter is a bright and friendly environment and most importantly ensures our animals receive the attention they need. Our cats, kittens, puppies and animals receiving medical care are housed trailer. This trailer undergone many renovations over the years and we are always in the process of trying to improve and expand to meet our ever increasing need for space and resources. However, we’ve now reached a point beyond repair.
On December 10th, 2017 during a cold snap, the heater in the trailer caught fire. We are fortunate someone was there and no animals were harmed.
Our shelter is solely run by volunteers and the donations we receive from our wonderful community. We receive no government or county funding. We are self sustained and rarely put out a plea for help. But now, we have no choice. We NEED a new building to ensure the safety of our animals. We are not looking for a fancy state of the art facility. We are looking for a simple and safe environment for our animals while they wait for their forever families.
