Huge Tricycle … for the Planet!

Hi, Ethan here on behalf of a new art collective called Heart Thunder. I’m going to keep this short… internet-attention-span short.

For the past few years- this man- artist, author, sculptor, black belt, scholar, polyglot and polymath Dan Brett has been spearheading some radical projects. He started humbly- using salvaged and scrap parts- Dan and his recruited friends built pretty spectacular creations. A single-rider wooden dragon. The Champ- an enormous sculpture on a three-person tricycle. The Jurassic Jalopy and its bewinged child The Jurassic Air. A dirigible.

They’ve made appearances at the Bristol Human-Powered Parade, The Brandon Independence Day Parade, and the Orwell Labor Day Parade.

This legend… this visionary… this freakin guy… he’s going even bigger now. He’s making the most unbelievable, wacky, eye-catching kinetic art spectacle you’re likely to have ever seen. With the help and professionalism of these other two multi-talented personal heros of mine [Paul!] and [Judd!]- we’re making a four-rider human-powered vehicle.

It will catch eyes, make a splash, bring some awe to local events, and bring awareness to the climate and our environment. We are doing this out of a joint passion for art and sustainability. We’d do it against any odds. However… to make a greater impact and continue to spread the joy and awe that I’ve seen these things inspire in viewers… we need some funds.

We are looking for a very modest $1000 budget for this next project. We need this money for parts, materials, and parade travel expenses. We are working on it right now! We'd like to finish construction by May in advance of the next human-powered parade. For the cost of the average recumbent bike we will make something the world has never seen.
