Hudson Harding Memorial Fund

On May 22, 2020, one-year old Hudson Harding was taken from this world very unexpectedly, leaving behind his father Pastor Luke Harding, his mother Sarah Harding, his brother Jack, and sister Jane.

We are comforted in knowing that he is safe in the arms of Jesus; but his family was left with the very real emotional devastation of his passing, as well as many sudden expenses related to his death. We are asking friends and family to donate generously to his family in his memory, and in support for his funeral costs. 

In 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14, the Scriptures give us these words of comfort:  "But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep."

******UPDATE FROM LUKE AND SARA HARDING******

Dear friends and so many we don't even know, 

Sara and I are thankful, overwhelmed, and humbled by the incredible outpouring of your generosity. This week we've faced our deepest fear in the world. The pain seems unbearable at moments. As we came home from the hospital, Sara looked at me and said, "Luke, this is going to be a really long road ahead."  Hudson's presence invaded every crevice of our lives, and so, we feel his absence afresh every day. 

We've already felt the Lord's presence, his grace, softly sustaining us the last few days. We trust there will be grace in the future. As Christians, we're not grieving hopelessly. Our grief has an end. With fellow Christians for the last 2,000 years, we believe that "we look forward to the resurrection of the dead and to life in the world to come. Amen."
