Stacy's Seizure Alert Dog

I am Stacy's Mom.  Stacy was born with multiple congenital issues.  She is 14 now and  high functioning,  but suffers with seizures almost daily and is unable to physically attend Asheville Middle School because of them.

 She has been on the waiting list at Canine Assistants for a seizure  alert dog  for  three years,  and last week we got the good news that she will receive her dog in April!   Hopefully, the dog will help her gain more independence and personal freedom.

There is no charge for the dog or training, but we are responsible for lodging and board for two and half weeks while we are there learning about the dog and being trained ourselves.  The total cost to us is $1700. 

I am single, and working, but this will require me to lose time at work as well as the extra expenses.  Just looking for a little help.  Stacy is so worth  whatever I have to do for her, she is the sweetest most loving person I have ever known and the world deserves to know her!
