UPDATE JULY 12, 2020:
Thank you for visiting this page to learn about my cause. Below is my full story. Just to briefly update I have to suspend these services for a few weeks because I was exposed to Covid-19 by a coworker and put myself into voluntary quarantine for 14 days to make sure I didn't come down with the virus. My test returned with a negative result. This will be my forth test since April.
My services will resume Thursday July 16th. To date over 2000 lunches have been delivered to homeless people. As far as my complimentary shopping service for those at risk, that too will also resume 7/16. I lost track of the number of deliveries and errand runnings but its over 200. Just added to my list of assistance my husband and I are not purchasing small meals and snacks for doctors, nurses, and hospital staff at Desert Regional Hospital in Palm Springs who are working with the increasing numbers of Covid-19 cases. Funds raised will help with this cause as well.

UPDATE May 15, 2020:
My original goal of $500 has been met. The continued donations have allowed me to continue to providing these services and I will continue doing so until the threat of Covid-19 is at a level that is safe enough for the shelter in place recommendation is lifted for everyone in the area.
Funds will also go towards fuel & insurance cost, food & supplies for those who can't pay, and lunches for our local homeless neighbors. Over 900 lunches will have been passed out as of May 17, 2020
My main purpose and number one priority with my delivery service is to help protect those most vulnerable and at risk. It's so important to insure that these folks stay home. These people include persons 60 years old or older, persons with compromised immune systems, disabled persons, or any other personal issues that may restrict them from getting the items they need.
When a person request my services they will either text or email me their name, address, and specific items they need including prescription pick ups. Those request are sent to [email redacted] and or [phone redacted]. I will reply to confirm with an approximate time of delivery.
How this works: After receiving a delivery request I shop and pay upfront the items requested. Upon delivery I collect payment via cash, check, credit/debit card. I do not charge for delivery. At times a gratuity is given which I will except. Much of my tips have gone back into this cause. Should this GoFundMe page continue raising money for the cause I can then keep my tips for my own financial struggles during these times.
I am NOT a non profit. I'm an individual who's doing this to help our local community. This service is provided within The Coachella Valley. If you are outside the Coachella Valley and need assistance please call me and I will try to find resources in your area.
