<div>Moi c'est Alyx, J'suis une fille trans NB arménienne de 27 ans, je collecte des dons pour mes chirurgies de féminisation faciale. Mon seul regret dans ma transition ça aura été de ne pas m'être permise de contempler les chir plus tôt dans ma vie.

<div>Je suis diagnostiquée bipolaire/borderline, TDAH &amp; autiste - je ne suis plus du tout en capacité de travailler* avec mes traitements, donc je peux tout juste payer le loyer et les factures avec le RSA. La vie quotidienne est un combat que je continue pour l'amour de mes adelphes et l'espoir que les choses s'améliorent un jour. Quand je cours pas après un billet, j'essaie de prendre soin de celleux qui m'accompagnent entre vents et marées.

<div>Je veux vivre ma meilleure vie, et pour moi à ce moment dans ma vie ça veut dire passer par des chirurgies - d'abord la FFS*, puis une SRS** à terme. Je sais que ça me rendra la vie plus douce, et plus sûre surtout, dans un climat politique vraiment énervé pour les personnes queer, tds, neuroa, racisé-e-s. Parce que c'est une opération majeure et que mon gagne-pain dépends aussi de mon apparence, j'ai décidé de passer par un chir dans le privé sur Paris, que je pense être le bon choix pour moi.

<div>Mon premier RDV est pour Décembre, où j'obtiendrais un devis précis dont je partagerais ici les détails par transparence. En attendant, j'ai une estimation autour de 10 000€, donc c'est l'objectif de cette cagnotte.

<div>*FFS : Facial Feminization Surgery. Dans mon cas, faire des retouches sur mon front, l'insertion du nez, le menton/mâchoire et adoucir ma pomme d'adam, pour obtenir des traits plus typiquements féminins.

<div>**SRS : Sexual Reassignment Surgery. Terme désuet mais plus reconnaissable que GAS (Gender Affirming Surgery). Une vaginoplastie dans mon cas.

<div>I've begun my transition about four years ago and my only regret is not allowing myself to come to terms with my need for surgeries earlier in life.

<div>I used to work in the adult entertainment industry (had to stop recently for mental health reasons), although I barely make ends meet due to frankly terrible working conditions and the weight of severe trauma and mental illness which continue to make day-to-day life a struggle. When I'm not hustling for cash, I try to take good care of the people around me -- precious queer folx I'd give the world for.

<div>I want to live my best life, one day at a time. For me at this point, this means getting FFS, which I know will make my life much safer, and let me feel happier and more at ease in my own body. Because this is a life-changing, major surgery that will affect my livelihood alongside most other aspects of my life, I decided to go with a private surgeon from Paris who I believe will be right for me.

<div>My first appointment with them is set for December of 2024, after which I will set a surgery date as soon as I have the funds. In the mean time, my estimate for the costs of the surgeries is around 10,000€, perhaps 1-2k more, hopefully a little less, though I highly doubt it as I don't have health care plan to cover for hospitalization, anesthesia, etc. As soon as I get the exact count, I will be reviewing this fundraiser to lay down all the cost for better transparency. I cannot stress enough how impatient I am to get this done and every day I try and stay hopeful, that this will happen, and to stay strong for my friends and lovers, one day at a time.
