Aboriginal students to see Aladdin

I am taking a group of Aboriginal students from the remote NT community of Ampilatwatja to Melbourne for an excursion in October. I thought about how wonderful it would be for them to see the stage production of Aladdin whilst we were there. I would then use this as the drama component in my English planning. I was told by the department that I would have to raise the funds myself for such an expensive night out. The only remaining tickets available for  the night we are there were a whopping $281 (including booking fee) and they were selling fast. I decided to take the plunge and outlay the entire amount for 13 people which came to $3736.40. The three non Indigenous in our group will pay for our own tickets but I ask you beautiful friends to help me to fund the rest (otherwise it is going to be the all time most expensive night out for me ever!) I believe this experience for these 12- 15 year old students would be remembered for ever and might even encourage some of them to think of possibilities for their own futures, or at least to help them to believe that anything is possible.
