Need to raise funds to purchase a used handicapped vehicle to help my quadriplegic wife become ambulatory again...
Hi, my name is Sherri, I am 64 years old now and I have had MS for the past 45 years.
I am quadraplegic, currently living in Illinois with my husband “Sandy”, who is retired. We are trying to raise money to purchase a used handicapped accessible SUV or Van, as travel has become very difficult for us.
Our hope is that we will be able to purchase a vehicle to replace our current 2002 SUV, which requires manual transfers of myself and my 65lb wheelchair. Hoping to be able to get out of our apartment more and drive to the east coast several times a year to see our children and grandchildren!
