LANDSLIDE HOME IS CONDEMNED

During the night of December 6, 2015 the land in front of our home slid away. No sound, no movement felt in the house. Upon taking our dog out for her morning run I saw that the entire front of our parking area was gone. The access road to our property was destroyed. The Septic System was destroyed. Part of the foundation of our garage was gone and left the roof sagging and ready to collapse.
A Geological Enginer's report indicates that the extent of the slide goes under our home and any further movement would cause it's collapse. Subsequent to that report the county condemned our home and we had to move out.
Our Insurance company declaired that our Homeowner's policy did not cover damage done by land movement and denied compensation. There is no assistance from Federal, State, County or City government.
The house prior to the slide was appraised at $440,000.00. It is now valued at ZERO.
We bought the home after I retired in 2006 and planed to spend the rest or our lives there. We now live in a rented house 30 miles away that is up for sale. Our income is not enough to pay the rent and the Mortgage Payment. The lender is Foreclosing on the loan. Our lives are no longer comfortable. We may never own a home again. Worry and depression are my constant companions.
I am begging for whatever assistance you can give my wife and me. Any funds received will, hopefully, help us purchase a place to live that we can call ours. We will not be able to apply for a bank loan so all donated funds will be put in a Savings Account to used for lawyer fees, storage fees and a downpayment when we find a Private sorce to help us purchase a new home.
