About us: Boom Squad, Inc. (BSI) is a year round youth development organization located in Evansville, Indiana. We have served over 1,000 youth since our beginning in January 2003.
Our mission is to provide youth with the necessary skills to make well-informed choices that lead to a healthy lifestyle and a successful future. Many of our youth come to us because of their interest in learning to play the drums, dance, or learn flag routines. Our overall purpose is to provide a safe place for youth to learn, experience, and grow. As our tag line says;..."more than a drum line."
We are excited to share our invitation to perform at Disney World's Epcot on March 29, 2017. Your support is requested and would be greatly appreciated in helping us get as many of our students there! We are equipped to perform with 60 to 70 students which represents students from 41 schools in the Evansville Metropolitan Area ages 4-17 years old.
Our plan is to take 100 participants which includes students, chaperones, and volunteers. This is huge for several of our participants because some have never left Indiana not to mention Evansville. The cost per student is $620 which includes new uniform, lodging, round trip transportation, park ticket cost and meals. Each student is to raise $200 of the $620 cost while our parents and volunteers are fundraising for the remaining $420 for each student. This is a once in a life time opportunity which will benefit our students in many ways and ultimately grant BSI another opportunity to add to our list of performances.
