Hello! I am starting a fundraiser for a young man named Kyle Shemek. He has recently been hospitalized with acute pancreatitis.  His original prognosis was a 50% chance of survival but has recently decreased to 40%.   This young man is a friend of my sons as well as his parents being friends of ours. These boys have played hockey through their junior high and high school years together.  Kyle has recently turned 26 which means he is no longer on his parents insurance. He entered the hospital before he had a chance to obtain insurance for himself and just recently moved into a house of his own. His hospital bills will be astronomical as he has been in ICU for 12 days now.  He will also be needing help with everyday living expenses until he is able to return to work.  Any help is very much appreciated! Hockey friends please spread the word! I know the hockey community is a brotherhood like no other!! Kyle needs your prayers and support as this will be a long journey for him! Thank you!
