Rebuilding a Family in St. Paul, MN

My former student, Saw Ler whom I adore, lost his father a week ago. In addition to that, he lost his mother, aged 43, less than three years ago. They left behind 7 children, the youngest being 3 years old. He and his siblings now have a tremendous burden to bear, along with the grief that will accompany it. He did not ask me to do this, but I feel compelled to want to help in any way I can. He is a hardworking, ethical, and compassionate young man, who has tried his best to take care of his younger siblings since his mother died. If you can find it in your heart to donate anything, it will help him to support his siblings, and pay for other related expenses due to the death of his father.

To give some background on this family, they are Karen from Thailand and came to the United States as refugees some years back. They have worked so hard to start over in a new country. This devastating blow can be met with people who want the best for their fellow man.
