Josie and the Pussycats the Musical

I have recently started the process of developing a musical based off of the 2001 movie Josie and the Pussycats with its eyes set on a televised performance and eventually a Broadway run and I am looking for donations to get this project off of the ground. I know funds are tight at the moment, but with a project like this I need to raise a minimum of $5000 for an upcoming developmental workshop, so I have to ask for help! Money raised from this small internet fundraiser will go towards a number of things including but not limited to:

1. Rehearsal space used for an upcoming developmental workshop.
2. Purchasing the movie rights from Universal.
3. Paying performers and musicians for their time and work on this upcoming developmental workshop.
4. The costs of an entertainment lawyer.



In return for your donation your name will be added to the credits of the video from our upcoming workshop in late January/early February. There will be more opportunities to donate and invest in this musical (investment options will come soon), but this is the most helpful time for donations as this is the time where I need help the most.
