<div>My name is Sidsel and I'm from Denmark. I founded a clinic called Sunflower Children's Charity Therapeutic Clinic in Uganda for children with disabilities and this is a fundraising for Sunflower.

<div>When I founded Sunflower, it was out of hope and a dream I had since I was young.


</div>

<div>The clinic runs on love, dedication and community support. Many families cannot afford therapy, yet their children urgently need it to learn how to move, eat, communicate and participate in school and daily life.<br />

<div>I have been volunteering at orphanage and schools for disabled. I saw that most of the disabled children weren’t given equal opportunities in their life, there was lacked access for therapy, no understanding or support. The children were hidden away, not because their parents didn’t care but because society didn’t know how to include them. So, I started sunflower because I believe that every child deserves to reach their potential and goals no matter their abilities. The clinic is a safe place where there will be joy and lots of possibilities. We want to give the children and families hope, help them to improve their daily life and give them strength.

<div>I will provide free occupational theapy, physiotherapy and language therapy for the children and create a safe space that brings empowerment and improved quality of life for the children and their families.

</div>
