<div>Run Harrisonburg is part of the national nonprofit Run Your City, which started in 2018 as a student-led initiative at the University of Virginia. Since then, it has grown into a movement with over 50 college-based chapters across the U.S. and internationally, including a transformative camp in Bugesera, Rwanda. All chapters are free, volunteer-run, and rooted in the belief that every child deserves the chance to reach their starting line, literally and figuratively.

<div>Run Your City exists to break down barriers to sport, especially for kids who might not otherwise have access. Whether it's a Sunday race or a practice filled with laughter, the goal is simple: show up as you are, leave stronger and more connected.
