Milo's Medical Fund

I have been the proud parent of Milo for the last eleven years and I have been incredibly fortunate that he has been the picture of health for the last decade.

On July 14th Milo was taken to the vet due to a sudden distended stomach, an x-ray showed that he had a mass pressing on his internal organs.  After an ultrasound on July 17th it was discovered that the mass is between 17-20cm in length and seems to be coming from his liver or spleen. 

Unfortunately the mass is so large that it's inconclusive where it's definite origin is or if it can be fully removed.  Currently we are awaiting biopsy results, to determine if cancerous cells are in the mass, and making plans for surgery since the mass is draining Milo of nutrients and making him anemic.   

The funds raised will go towards his X-Rays, Ultrasounds, blood tests, biopsies and abdominal surgery which has been estimated between $4500-6000.  His procedures and tests will be split up between Northeast Veterinary Hospital and Blue Pearl Animal Hospital. 

So far, Milo hasn't realized he is sick and is enjoying walks with his family and sunbeams between vet visits and it is my hope  that this continues.  Thank you for your time and help, it means the world to me.
