Fund for HR Immigrant Families
Greetings, friends in Hood River County. I am part of the county Rapid Response Team. We are trained to respond to ICE presence in our county - we observe and report, then we pick up the pieces they leave behind. This often means children unattended, a family torn apart, or a household without its primary breadwinner. We are establishing this fund to assist those folks in our county who have been negatively affected by immigration enforcement. This fund will pay for emergency items like diapers, formula, toilet paper, cleaning supplies; we also help those affected seek out longterm assistance through social services, local churches, etc. But sometimes things happen quickly and without warning, and we need a fund to cover emergency needs of those left behind. Thank you so much for donating if you can. Please consider sharing this opportunity with others.
