Lauren is Greater Than Fund

Lauren needs our help!  Because of damage to her kidneys caused by Lupus (Lupus Nephritis), Lauren has been getting sicker and sicker.  She puts on a brave, beautiful face, but inside - she's been suffering.

Over the summer her family received the devastating news that she would need a kidney transplant in order to survive.

Our prayers were answered when we learned Lauren's father, Carlos, is a match for Lauren - he will be her living kidney donor! 

Lauren and her father underwent successful surgery on Tuesday, November 25, 2014. God is good! They are both doing well, and Lauren's new kidney is performing like a champ!

Unfortunately, because she has been on disability for a few months, at her doctor's insistence, she now has to pay out of pocket for her insurance, and faces massive medical bills.  COBRA is outrageously expensive, and her prescription coverage is nearly non-existant! 

As you can imagine, Lauren will need to take transplant medication for the rest of her life,
