Motorized Wheelchair for Margaret

Our dear friend Margaret has been living at the Catholic Eldercare Nursing Home since 2012 after enduring a stroke. She is recuperating nicely but the lingering effects of the stroke have left her unable to walk or operate a manual wheelchair. Currently she has to wait for a staff member to push her anyplace she wishes to go. This makes it difficult for her to visit the atrium, the gift shop and even visit with others outside of her room. The independence she would experience with a motorized wheelchair would bring Margaret great happiness and greatly improve her quality of life.

We are hoping to raise the funds to purchase the chair and present it as a gift to Margaret this Christmas.
