13 y/O Isaac has a cavernoma. This is a cluster of abnormal blood vessels, usually found in the brain and spinal cord. Isaac had a slow bleed which led to stroke-like symptoms. He was life flighted to sacred heart hospital in Spokane Washington where he will receive brain surgery when it is safe. There’s been a few complications with the cavernoma bleeding and extreme nausea. Though he’s on a feeding tube and feels weak, Isaac is being a trooper through this.
Once he’s recovered from surgery, Isaac will be moved to St Luke’s inpatient rehabilitation center to which he will need two weeks of intense physical therapy.
His parents have been by his side every moment taking them away from their jobs, stopping all income .
We are asking for your generosity in lending a financial hand to help with not only expenses while out of state but with their home expenses that are still occurring. Drs estimate Isaacs continued recovery & Physical therapy could be up to 90 days. It is important to regain all functions in a timely manner to be successful. We appreciate any help we may receive and thank you for supporting our wonderful son Isaac.
