Hello!
My name is Ray Lee.
I've just made a massive
decision and my hope is that you'll be part of it!
On April 12th I will be saying
\"Bon Voyage\" and make my way across the Atlantic (the SLOW way) to
stay on the tiny island of Ibiza.
...a personal journey,
an opportunity to lend a hand and so much more...
Some of you know Marie Francoise, aka.
\"MF\" aka. \"Douchka\'s Mom\". I call her,
\"Madame\". A retired but dedicated public school teacher,
she continues to tutor and fill-in when she\'s needed by the kids of Spain.
Madame has lived on the island since
1973 in a 300 year-old finca-style home. Her mother, brother and a wood-burning
stove keep it warm. This usually works just fine for a drafty house in Ibiza,
but this little place has seen extreme cold and even SNOW as recently as last
month...it needs some attention.
But, the isolation of the island,
medical issues and drastic drop of DOLLAR vs EURO value make improvements
extremely difficult for this amazing woman.
I\'m going to help.
I\'ll be assessing the leaks, making
repairs, helping to clean up the property, and stepping out to learn from a
land, language and life that I will NEVER forget.
Will you chip in to make this
happen?
It would mean the world to me, if you

Personally, this is an adventure of a
lifetime! I\'ve never traveled so far or for so long by myself. For those of you
who know what the last year has been like for me, you know...I\'ve NEEDED
this!
In addition to the adventure and
repair work, I\'ve been invited to work with Ibiza Masonic Lodge #44 during my
stay. My intention is to discover resources from them to offer support for
Madame and her family for the longer-term.
I\'ve already committed by purchasing
my travel to Spain and will be staying in MF\'s home. Your donations will be used
for building supplies and expenses.
Any
remaining funds will be donated to the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for
Children, upon my return in May. If you\'ve never
toured the TSRHC, it\'s an incredible place that literally changes the lives of
children...at NO COST to the families!
