Help Swifty Walk Again

The reason for this fundraiser is to help with funds to continue with Swifty's physical therapy.   On May 26, 2019, Swifty woke up one morning not being able to walk.  After his regular veterinarian did xrays, it was determined that there was a slipped disk.  He was rushed into surgery to correct the disk.  The original diagnosis was that Swifty would not regain the use of his hind legs.  

Swifty is slowly progressing with physical therapy that I provide at home, range of motion and massage, twice a day. He has lots of movement and pushes himself up with his left leg, but his right leg is slowly progressing.


His bladder still needs to be expressed regularly.  It is our hope that with the continued physical therapy, Swifty can continue to maintain a high quality of life.  

Without her help from Jean Martin, her family (husband, daughter, and son) and her FB friends and others who donated, it would have taken me forever to get this wheelchair. He uses his wheelchair twice a day and he loves moving around like he used to do.
