Help us survive maternity leave

Oh, boy.  I hate asking for help, especially financial, especially because I'm 40 and should be in a financially stable place by now.  But we need help.  We've cut everything we can: we haven't been out to dinner in forever, we don't have cable anymore, we don't buy new clothes unless absolutely necessary, we don't travel, we have no memberships to anywhere, and we've consolidated our credit cards to lower the payment.  At the end of last year we bought a new (to us) van because our vehicles both had so many repairs in the last two years, it just wasn't worth it anymore to keep repairing them.  We also moved into a house, which of course has higher rent and utilities.  Also, we made too much money last year (huh??) and only got less than half of our usual amount of taxes back, which we usually use to pay down bills.  Plus, with our new baby coming in less than two months (yikes!), I'm going on maternity leave at the beginning of August.  I will get disability payments but that takes 2-3 weeks to process and isn't as much as my full paycheck.  I was going to go back to school to get a better job, but we can't afford that either.  Once I get back to work after Thanksgiving, we'll be fine, but for now, we're broke and need help.  We greatly appreciate any and all assistance you can give us.
